While working on the Digital Innovation and Consumer Experience team at Jefferson Hospital I lead a 3 week research effort. It informed design updates to improve the process and software for scheduling healthcare employees to receive Epic software training. Below you will see an overview of my process, insights learned and my design recommendations.
Before research began stakeholders were hopeful that after user research, design and development could be completed in 2 months. The insights I found made them to realize the changes needed were much more complex and would take more time. Therefore, leadership assigned a UX designer whom they gave an extended timeline to continue work on the project.
